Burke Darling
During my 30 years with the Federal Government I had a variety of career changes such as a Trade Commissioner, Economic Development Officer and an Indian art development manager, funding many production centers. I also had an on going personal interest in the arts practicing pottery, painting and jewelry. I was one of he founders of the Canadian Crafts Council and its Treasurer for nine years.

After retiring from government service I went to the Alberta College of Art and Design and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in sculpture.

In my current practice I paint subjects following my interest in wildlife, landscapes, travel destinations, figurative and portrait painting.
